On Monday, February 3rd, 2025, Julia BAYER posted a new GEOINT/OSINT challenge on her Twitter account for the #MondayQuiz.
I recommend attempting to solve it before looking at this solution. Here is the link to the challenge: https://x.com/bayer_julia/status/1886505111901626879/photo/1
As always, let’s start by identifying the most obvious details.
It appears to be a restaurant, possibly a Chinese restaurant. The building looks relatively new.
We can see multiple writings and signs:
We are able to read Falafel Schawarma
, or at least something like that.
As mentioned in the previous writeup on my blog, there is also an European-style exit sign. You can search for it on Wikipedia, in the USA they are different:
We can also identify a recognizable logo. The reverse image search doesn’t give us anything but we keep it aside for later verification:
I tried to Google Translate the Chinese signs in order to identify the restaurant’s name but if failed. I eventually thought of reversing the image vertically and tried again.
I used gimp to reverse the image and then translate the Chinese signs:
Even if we do not put the whole word, Google suggests some restaurants:
One is in Berlin which could match with our European country.
From Google Images, with our previous result, we find this restaurant that has the same logo as we identified earlier:
Let’s see where these restaurants are located from their website:
https://www.wenchengnoodles.com/locations
They all are in Berlin and there are only 4 of them, it’s gonna be quick.
1 and 3 can be removed because they do not look like the photo (the storefront).
Number 2: In 2022, with Google Maps, there were no restaurant there.
We can confirm that with the list of companies in that building:
And it doesn’t look like the one on the photo.
There’s only one possibility remaining: the restaurant number 4.
We identify the railings which seem to be the same:
If we dig deeper and look at some photos inside the restaurant, a few elements can be identified to match with our photo:

Fortunately, someone took a photo of the menu, containing the prices in 2024:

But don’t be in a hurry and let’s verify that information on another source.
I saw on their official website that we can order food online.
It redirects us to https://wolt.com/de/deu/berlin/brand/wen-cheng.
We select our restaurant number 4: https://wolt.com/de/deu/berlin/restaurant/wen-cheng-4-hand-pulled-noodles
Online they do not serve the "Lamb and Cumin" anymore (or at least at the time of writing this challenge). And the prices are higher than in September 2024.
From the other restaurants they also have the same meals. So we can confirm that two plates with beef have the same price of 17.5 euros.
We can see that on October, 2023 the prices were even lower:
I tried to confirm the price with Google Dorks but I eventually only found an old menu:
We can also confirm that the restaurant is located near another one selling falafels:

I was about to set my final answer to 17.50
when I found that we can pre-order on the Wolt website.
In fact, the plates are not currently available (at the time of writing) but we can pre-order them:
So the final answer to Julia’s challenge is 18,50 euros
.
Hope you’ll learn new things! Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions and thank you for reading me!
PS: If you look at the context for this challenge (i.e: Julia’s twitter account), you’ll see that most of the MondayQuiz she posted were made by her and are located in Berlin.
